Social project: psychological rehabilitation of children

We are very excited to share some incredible news! We have successfully implemented our 2023 Social and Psychological Recovery Project aimed at supporting children affected by the war. This project was of particular importance to us, as we understood how important it was to create a safe and supportive environment for children who had gone through difficult experiences. Over the summer, we restored 250 small hearts.

This year we have focused all our efforts on providing assistance and support to children who have lost the most precious things – their parents, Heroes of Ukraine, as well as children from the occupied territories of Kherson region, these children were evacuated by the team of Unbreakable Volunteers during the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, and also for those children whose cities are in active hostilities, their city is completely destroyed and they were forced to leave their homes (IDPs).

We held intensive psychological support sessions to teach children effective strategies for managing emotions and overcoming stress. We also developed their talents and hobbies through master classes, creative activities and sports events. We paid special attention to building group compassion and support, which helps children feel part of one large and united team.

This project was made possible thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the organizers, volunteers, psychologists, counselors, and everyone who supported our project in various ways. We are deeply grateful to the partners and sponsors who believed in our mission and helped us make this project a reality.

Children always remain the most defenseless and vulnerable both during war and during peaceful life. Our public organization deals with projects that affect the psychological and physical health, development and future of children of Ukraine.

This project involved 250 children who lost their parents, who gave their lives defending our land, children from the occupation and children of IDPs. The children received psychological support, art therapy, made new friends, and had a good time without gadgets. They deepened their knowledge of English, took part in various clubs and master classes.
